CLEANING AGENT CBX

INTRODUCTION :

CLEANING AGENT CBXis ready mixed parting liquid. It is used as releasing agent during production of Cold Box & No bake cores.

In case of production of cold box cores, due to continuous production, it results in formation of resin layer on the surface of core box & blockages of core vents which in turn lead to problem in core release &affects the quality of cores & finally affects on productivity. In order to avoid this problem, CLEANING AGENT CBX is used.

FUNCTION :

When CLEANING AGENT CBX is applied on the cold box patterns by spraying, the solvent gets evaporated & a fine uniform film of Release agent is formed on the surface of pattern. This fine uniform film offers quick release of cores from pattern. 

APPLICATION :

Before spraying/ applying CLEANING AGENT CBX with brush or airless spraying equipment, ensure that the pattern is completely cleaned.  After application, allow it to soak for 15-20 minutes for complete removal of resin layers.  Then clean the core box with the help of cotton cloth/waste. Also to avoid core vent blockages, apply CLEANING AGENT CBX on core vents & allow it to wait for 15-20 minutes before cleaning of the vents with air. Over application of release agent will decrease it’s effectiveness.

STORAGE & HANDLING:

  • Avoid contact with eyes &prolonged contact with skin.
  • Store in dry &cool place away from source of heat & fire.
  • Use hand gloves & the safety googles during application. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water & contact physician accordingly.
  • It should not be used for hot box or shell core application.

PARTING AGENT -W is available in 20 lit.,35Lit. 50Lit polycarboys also available in 200 liter drums.

SHELF LIFE:

180 days from the date of manufacture.

25 Liters in metallic drum.
